College Scholar Soccer Camp (CSSC) is for female soccer players with the aspirations to play college soccer at the finest and most competitive academic institutions in the country.
The CSSC Summer Camp Format
Team Concept Training
Each player is assigned a camp team with a current college coach, who will train this same team for the duration of camp. This helps players build familiarity with their coach and each other, which improves the level of team play throughout camp. The practices will incorporate college-level tactics, and the games will have college-level intensity.
Championship Format
Camp teams are placed in competitive brackets, and the camp consists of a round-robin style tournament. The top team from each bracket will compete for a camp championship in the last match. This format creates a very competitive, playoff style intensity. College coaches want to see how you perform in competitive environments!
Get Educated
CSSC prepares players beyond the field by educating them on the recruiting process, the admissions process, and life inside a college soccer program. Camp includes a College Coach and College Player Q&A in addition to an Information Session with an Admissions Director from an elite academic institution. (All info sessions on Zoom due to COVID restrictions.)
GK Training
CSSC GK Academy provides position specific GK training sessions from the top college GK coaches in the country. GK’s will be challenged in training sessions and given the opportunity to shine in camp games.
Get Evaluated
All players at CSSC have the opportunity to be seen and evaluated by every college coach at camp, not just the coach assigned to their camp team. Each college coach receives a player profile book and each player receives a colored, numbered pinnie, which makes them easily identifiable to all of the college coaches.
Get Feedback
At the end of camp, each player will receive a verbal evaluation from their team’s college coach. This is an opportunity for players to create a dialogue with their coach and receive specific feedback on their game.
