Ted Zingman has been the head coach of the women’s soccer team at Dickinson College since 2017. His four year record at Dickinson is 48-18-9. In 2019, he led the Red Devils to the best season in program history. The team finished 16-3-4, including 8-0-2 in the Centennial Conference, which resulted in the Centennial Conference regular season championship. The team made a run to the “Sweet Sixteen” of the NCAA Tournament, and finished the season ranked #14 in the final national rankings.

Prior to Dickinson, Zingman was the head coach at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN for from 2007-17. He holds the program’s coaching records for wins and win percentage, and is the only coach to lead Hamline to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs.

Zingman was an assistant coach for the Johns Hopkins University women’s soccer team from 2004-07. JHU’s record during Zingman’s three seasons was 50-11-4, including back-to-back Centennial Conference titles and back-to-back appearances in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Zingman attended Johns Hopkins University and received a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a four year starter for the men’s team at Johns Hopkins University and set the Johns Hopkins single season scoring record (23 goals) as a senior. He still holds the Centennial Conference record for most conference goals scored in a single season with 13 (1999; tied).

Patrick Corbett returned to Dickinson College as an assistant coach in January 2021. He was previously a part of the Red Devils coaching staff in 2017-18. Corbett returns to Dickinson after serving as an assistant coach with the women’s soccer program at Virginia Wesleyan University for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The Marlins appeared in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) championship in both 2018 and 2019 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2019 as well. He was involved in all aspects of the program as they compiled an overall record of 25-8-8 in his two seasons. Between both programs, Corbett recruited/coached 26 All-Conference Players, 18 All-Region Players, 1 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, 1 Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and 3 All-Americans.

Prior to joining the Dickinson staff in 2017, Corbett spent two seasons as the Head Coach of men’s soccer at CCBC-Catonsville and served as the Head Coach of the women’s program in 2012 and 2013. During his tenure, he produced a combined six All-Conference selections and had nine players named All-Region.

In addition to coaching college, Corbett is currently coaching Girls Academy at Coppermine Soccer Club and overseeing College Placement for Coppermine players. Previously, he was the Director of College Placement at FCGB Center of Excellence and Head Coach of high school aged boys and girls teams. While at FCGB, he was also the Head Coach for Bullis School Boys Varsity Team, as well as its boys middle school program. Before FCGB, he was the High School Girls Director, Director of College Placement, and Head Coach of high school age boys and girls at DC Soccer Club. He has also coached boys and girls teams for Thunder Soccer Club from 2007-2014, boys and girls teams for Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC) from 2014-2017, and on the girls side for Beach FC 2018-2019.

He holds his United States Soccer Federation National ‘C’ license. Corbett played at Howard Community College during the 2006 and 2007 seasons, and captained the team in 2007. He earned his Associate of Arts degree in 2008 and then attended University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) from 2010-2012, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012.
