Ted Zingman has been the head coach of the women’s soccer team at Dickinson College since 2017. His four year record at Dickinson is 48-18-9. In 2019, he led the Red Devils to the best season in program history. The team finished 16-3-4, including 8-0-2 in the Centennial Conference, which resulted in the Centennial Conference regular season championship. The team made a run to the “Sweet Sixteen” of the NCAA Tournament, and finished the season ranked #14 in the final national rankings.

Prior to Dickinson, Zingman was the head coach at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN for from 2007-17. He holds the program’s coaching records for wins and win percentage, and is the only coach to lead Hamline to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs.

Zingman was an assistant coach for the Johns Hopkins University women’s soccer team from 2004-07. JHU’s record during Zingman’s three seasons was 50-11-4, including back-to-back Centennial Conference titles and back-to-back appearances in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Zingman attended Johns Hopkins University and received a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a four year starter for the men’s team at Johns Hopkins University and set the Johns Hopkins single season scoring record (23 goals) as a senior. He still holds the Centennial Conference record for most conference goals scored in a single season with 13 (1999; tied).
